Go beyond Byword's core functionality

Formats allow you to produce articles in new ways, that go beyond Byword's basic engine. These are a work in progress. Currently the formats available are listed below.

The introduction of Custom Articles should replace many of the use cases for Formats. It's worth checking out the documentation for Custom Articles in case your objective can be achieved more easily with them.

List-Based Articles

Build articles around specific lists of items, letting you target list-based keywords.

Programmatic Builder

Build hundreds, if not thousands of pages at a time, by providing a programmatic structure and filling out variable values.

Glossary Builder

Build out extensive glossaries in no time, with Byword's glossary builder and keyword suggestion features.

Write From URL

Provide a list of your competitors' article URLs, and have Byword scrape them and prepare its own improved versions.
